Williamson Wines Food Pairing

Today Jake and I went to Sonoma State to meet some of my coworkers for lunch.  It's the summertime grill so we can order salads, hamburgers, hot dogs and quesadillas outside at the BBQ and then enjoy them outside in the sun.

That afternoon I surprised Jake with a Williamson Wines wine and food pairing in Healdsburg.  We were seated at a table across from a couple of women visiting wine country from Chicago.  We all enjoyed the wine and food pairings while talking and taking in our surroundings.  My favorite of the many different dishes was the chocolate- it's amazing what a good wine and well made chocolate can taste like!
After the wine and food pairing event we then went and tasted at our favorite place on the square; Thumbprint of course!  Upon inquiry on the best place to have dinner they highly recommended Scopa an Italian restaurant on the town square.  We headed there and took the picture of us together in front of their restaurant.  We put ourselves on the reservation list for dinner and then walked the town square.  In the park gazebo we took the picture of our two hands, an equality ring on each of our hands.
Scopa had a great selection of Italian foods, we chose the lasagna for dinner and as an appetizer we had fresh bread with olive oil and a mozzarella, basil and tomato pizza.  We were absolutely stuffed!
